Fanficforum in Conference 2025

Our conference is entering its second round! Once again, we want to give students the opportunity to present and discuss their current academic work on the topic of fanfic. The presentation can be on the topic of a term paper or thesis but does not have to be.

When? Friday, 24.01.2025 (time to be announced)

Where? hybrid: Zoom/Campus Westend (room to be announced)

Who? students from all universities, programmes and levels, German- or English-speaking

You can apply as a speaker via the form. If you want to listen on site, no further registration is required. If you want to take part online, write to us for the Zoom link at info@fanficforum-ffm.de or on Instagram (@fanficforum_ffm)!

Application

The form is an application – we cannot guarantee that we will be able to accept all presentations. If more students apply than we have time slots, we will select according to topic and project status. The application deadline is 11.12.2024. The final selection will be communicated by 18.12.2024 at the latest. Applicants are asked to keep the day of the conference (24.01.2025) free until the final decision in order to make the process as smooth as possible.

Für jede Präsentation werden wir die gleiche Menge an Zeit für Rückfragen und Diskussion anschließen. For each presentation, we will allow the same amount of time for questions and discussion.
